DEFENDING Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League champions Ba is on track to retaining its title after beating Navua 2-0 at Govind Park yesterday.

Fresh from winning the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants a fortnight ago, the Men in Black showed no signs of slowing down by edging out a gritty Navua side by dominating possession.

Ba donates $1k for cancer victims

Newly crowned Battle Of Giants champion Ba has donated $1000 from its $11,000 prizemoney received to the Fiji Cancer Society to help people suffering from the killer disease.

Ba President Rishi Kumar the team has been doing a lot of community work and after winning the tournament, the players and management decided to give away $1000 for a worthy cause.

Private reception for BOG champs

Members of the victorious Ba football team will be rewarded with cash and gift packs during a private function this Friday.

The Men In Black similar to their past wins, have opted to celebrate only with their loved ones in a private reception which will be held at president Rishi Kumar's residence.

BA has moved to the top of the Fiji Sun/GP Batteries National Football League after winning a protest against Labasa.

The Men in Black had filed a protest after going down to the Babasiga Lions 1-0 at Subrail Park.
